State of the art packing

Unlike our competitors, Harsch Transports uses traditional packing methods that are tried and true over years of maritime moving. Generally, all your furniture will be protected with 5-layer paper (or bubble wrap) as well as with corrugated cardboard. This type of packing provides structural reinforcement of the furniture, lending it more shock-resistance. We also take extra care in packing your personal effects and wrap each fragile object (dishes, knickknacks) in silk paper before placing in cartons. All boxes we use—small, medium and large—are proportional to one another, which permits optimal stacking. Also, thanks to our personnel’s long professional experience, each container is loaded for optimal space-saving and security.

Fine arts service

From the beginning Harsch has always been specialized in the packing, handling and transport of works of art, precious objects and fragile furnishings. Because every piece is unique, we build custom-tailored protective crates in our own workshop. Today, Harsch has earned worldwide recognition in the area of fine art transport.
