On Thursday, November 9, 2006, we have spent a very nice day together with a hundred guests to the “Cité des Vins (rue de Coutance in Geneva) for the 6th Harsch cultural appointment
This 6th Harsch cultural appointment took the appearance of an “agri-cultural” appointment because it was place under the Bacchus sign for the ones and Dyonisos for the others: a blind tasting of 8 wines during which each one was invited to answer questions asked by the ceremonial master, Marc Balzan, wine waiter to the “Cité des Vins”. One had to establish the origin of a wine, the designation of another, the vintage of a third, an appellation and other subtleties.
Each one had a chance to win a price.
Regarding the oenologists, they were able to prove their knowledge and their nose.
The winners are :
by selection,
- 1st price :
Ms Stefania Lapietra won the first prize, a wonderful work of the painter Edouard Vallet from Geneva and published by Patrick Cramer (13, rue de Chantepoulet – Geneva – www.cramer.ch )
- 2nd price :Mr. Jean-Jacques Delavy who left with a bottle of Savigny Lavières 2003 domain Tollot Baud.

by questionnaire :
- 1st price : A clever connoisseur too modest to have his name mentioned.

This evening was a great success attested by the applauses upon the announcement of the results. Moderation being of rigour as it should be.
Each one has left looking forward to the 7th appointment foreseen to the Mamco/Geneva, Thursday January 18, 2006, where we will see the exhibition dedicated to the artist John M. Armleder form Geneva. |
