The MAMCO in Geneva let full power to John Armleder, one of the most influent Swiss artist of the artistic scene.
Visit of a colourful exhibition!
We immersed ourselves in the world of John M. Armleder, which, from Flexus to Ecart shows us a world famous artist with a huge creativity that is part of the contemporary art he stamped with his personality.
This 7th Harsch cultural appointment has been the occasion for the neophytes to apprehend the contemporary art together with guides passionate by the artist and his art within the surprising surrounding of the Mamco (an old factory at 10, rue des Vieux Grenadiers in Geneva). Whether paintings, drawings, sculptures, plants disposal, “installations” or the decoration of the room itself with cotton, satin and mirrors, everything in the art of John M. Armleder calls out and deserves that we stop on it.
Regarding the many connoisseurs of this world famous artist from Geneva, they had a unique occasion to admire the width of his talent in visiting the 30 rooms of the fourth floors that were exceptionally put at his disposal for presenting his art since 1968.
The sophistication of the buffet served by Régéservices has been the last straw to this evening during which the comments were making good progress, each one letting know what he had discovered and appreciated by Armleder and to the Mamco.
Our thanks to the excellent staff of the Mamco that has widely contributed to the success of the 7th Harsch cultural appointment and especially to Christian Bernard, Loa Pictet and Sophie Costes.
