Archiving practice
The first stage of the archiving process is to draw up an inventory of your archives and to provide proper advice for safeguarding your documents.
Having conducted this audit and depending on your needs, we then propose the following steps:

- Sorting
- Inventory
- Cleaning
- Filing
- Repacking
In this way your archives are sorted, listed, cleaned up and filed. Depending on your needs, different packing for you archives may be considered, including the possibility of entrusting us with the storage of your documents at our highly secure facilities (savings in space, money, confidentiality, access controls, etc.).
DIGITIZATION
Digital archives
Thanks to our state-of-the-art scanners, we are able to digitize some or all of your archives, depending on your needs. Materials of any size may be digitized, from postage stamps through to architectural plans, including microfilms and of course all standard document formats such as A4, A3, A5. Digitization takes place in four stages:

- Reception
- Preparation (staples, paper clips, etc.)
- Digitization
- Finalization
PROCESS

Document processing
Once digitized, documents may be processed as required. Various processes can be implemented:

- Reformatting in PDF
- OCR
- Indexing – meta tags
- Quality control
Thanks to automatic character recognition, the inclusion of meta tags and stringent quality control, the digitized documents are then operational and may be loaded in your information systems (ECM, databases, ERP, CRM, etc.).

In collaboration with our partner ELO and using their computer software “ELO Professional”, ECM can be implemented with minimum demands on your time and resources. The user-friendliness is such that your employees will be able to handle the changeover easily and almost immediately.

Secure and confidential document disposal
In addition to digitization and ECM, HARSCH Archives also offers confidential document disposal services. HARSCH Archives, which is certified ISO 14001, promotes a disposal system that recycles the paper while respecting environmental principles. HARSCH Archives provides confidential disposal services for IT data storage media.
